FAQ's title

Q. Can I make a claim?

A. To make a personal injury claim, your case must meet three conditions:

  • Someone else was to blame
  • The accident resulted in injuries
  • Your injury was caused within the last three years
more

A claim for damages can be made as a result of any accident where someone else is at fault. Such claims may arise for example, from a road traffic accident, an accident at work, a criminal assault or from a tripping or slipping accident in a public place where the local Council, or perhaps a supermarket have failed to keep the area in proper repair or free from slippery substances.

If such an accident results in death, then certain family members and dependants can make a claim for compensation.
